I would like some that look better and not as cheap. More expensive looking handles or being able to choose different handles. Round out the table corners (my toddler has come so close to hitting those very sharp edges so I ordered some sticky things on Amazon to put on the corners).
Two things that I think could improve on the design: 1. I searched for months, and I never saw any piece of craft furniture that compares. I was a lego lover as a kid and obviously love crafts, hence the dream box, so I thought it was completely possible to build on your own if you're wanting to save money. I put it together by myself and husband for heavy lifting, which took time but was doable. It is a great piece of furniture, well made, and the instructions were perfect.
Unfortunately, the door that came also ended up having a little chunk out of it, but it will be more easily fixable with the paint they provide. I had a couple of big dents/scratches in the front of a door and a couple of other things. I feel I got a very good value for the price!Ĭustomer service was great. This is not your standard flat pack furniture - the materials are very solid, and the finish is pretty sturdy too! My tabletop has gotten some pretty heavy use: it has had run-ins with acetone, my dremel, various hand tools whacking into it, and a few pens, and barely has a scratch on it and remains easy to clean. I’m also very impressed with the quality of my Dreambox. And because I no longer have to keep most of my supplies and extra projects on my work table, I now have a much bigger area to work on. No longer do I struggle with working on a new project because my workspace is too crowded with another project (or multiple projects!) that I have no place to store. Because I can’t limit myself to one project at a time, I’ve kept a few of my totes available to hold projects in progress so I can just toss all the stuff I need in one easy-to-grab place, which makes switching between projects so much easier.
